Memory Lawn News

As of Sunday, February 1, 2026, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery is still waiting for Bitter Lakes to locate the title for the tractor. We hope this issue resolves itself soon.

As of Saturday, December 13, 2025, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery is hosting Wreaths Across America at 10AM. A generous donation paid for all 305 wreaths for us.

As of Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery has received the replacement American flag from Federal Flags. Installation will be sometime in the next week.

As of Tuesday, November 25, 2025, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery received and installed the storage container. This was made possible by a generous donation. The cost overrun was almost $500.00.

As of Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery is purchasing a storage container with a generous donation. Installation is planned for next week.

As of Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery is scheduled to receive a donation of a riding tractor from Bitter Lake. This was delayed due to the government shutdown. Once received, it will be overhauled. This overhaul is being paid for with a generous donation.

As of Friday, November 1, 2024, Memory Lawn Memorial Cemetery will change the sexton to Lyze Lee

As of Monday, January 1, 2024, Memory Lawn is now owned and managed by American Legion Family 61. Changes are currently planned and we are looking for grants to improve the water system.
